Tool released to Jailbreak Windows RT operating system

Few days back, @Clrokr, performed a hack, exploits a vulnerability in the Windows RT kernel after which he came out with a way which allow him to run unsigned desktop applications on Windows RT. Now another programmer ‘netham45′ has released a tool using the method performed by Clrokr to Jailbreak Windows RT operating system.

Today on the XDA Developers website, a user ‘netham45′ has released a tool (batch file) which takes approx 30 seconds to Jailbreak Windows RT. Before this hack, you can only run Metro apps on Windows RT but after using this tool you’ll be able to run any Desktop app on you Windows RT tablet.

Microsoft has applaud the ingenuity behind this hack along with that they said that this is not a security vulnerability and will not pose a security threat to Windows RT users. Along with that users have to use apply this hack at each boot of the OS because of Windows RT O.S UEFI Secure Boot process will not allow anyone to make changes on permanent basis.

We hope Microsoft is working to patch this loophole in Windows RT.
